The Safir Timepiece Collection

The Safir Timepiece Collection is an assortment of superior quality watches assembled in the US using Swiss made parts by the Belair Time Corporation which celebrated 70 years of operation in 2015. Novelty items are often thought as inexpensive "giveaways". Only the GT40 logo makes these watches a "novelty". All of the watches incorporate genuine sapphire, scratch-resistant crystals, surgical quality stainless steel cases, and are 100% water resistant. The Ultra Slim and the Classic series watches are tested and certified water resistant to 3 ATM (100 feet), and the Sport to 10ATM (330 feet).

The Classic yellow model design makes use of the latest state-of-the-art technology, with PVD (physical vapor deposition) deposits of gold and titanium nitrate alloy, to permeate and harden the stainless steel, so that the plating will wear equivalent to 10 microns of traditional galvanic gold plating.
